Boy, oh boy.....it's a boy! Kline Dennen was born at 1:30am April 21st......8 lbs 12 oz...21 inches long........and ouch!!!!!! I labored at home from 5am- 6:30pm...then went to the hospital, What a car ride! When I went in they measured me at 10 cm....then we waited for the Dr. he checked me and said I was only 8. The baby was sunny side up and I felt like I really was ready to push...but I wasn't aloud to. I couldn't help it and ended up swelling my cervix's. I was stuck at 8.5 for 4 hours trying not to push the whole time. Then I couldn't stand it and asked for the epidural.THANKS GOD!!! I got it about 11:30 at night. At about 12am Kline's heart rate was dropping and they put me on oxygen. Then at 1:00 ish his heart rate dropped to 40 so they all came rushing in and put one of the internal head heart rate monitors in to his head (screwed it into his head) still the heart rate was low and the Dr. said he had to get him out with forceps...they said there was no time even for a c-section. SO we got him out in about 5 pushes.......thank god I had the epidural!!!!!! He was super healthy and a keeper!!!!! He is doing great...so cute!!! Breastfeeding is challenging (he's a biter)and doing anything takes forever. All our love, Loren, Denny, and Kline Dennen!!!!!

40 weeks and over due! :-/

Here we wait!  Little Peanut seems to be way to comfy in there and doesn't realize that there is much more room to stretch out here!  SO, We wait!    I am having a really hard time sleeping......I know you say, Sleep now........but I can't, I am up most nights from 3am - 6 and then go back to bed till about 10am.   My hip have been killing me at night so sleeping for long periods is not so easy.   I guess my body is just getting ready for the lack of sleep a newborn brings.  Den on the other hand is sleeping like a bear! ;-)  I have recently become addicted to Coco Pebbles so we may be changing the babies name to Pebbles for a girl and Bambam for a boy.........Bambam Mccormac, sounds like a ball player, or a really good pooper!  ;-)    We'll keep you posted ! 39 weeks and STILL COUNTING!

HI:  The Dr. visit went well today...Peanut has moved to the best birthing position...yeah!  So hopefully it stays put...so we have the easiest labor possible!!!!!!!! I also didn't gain any weight this week......YAHOOOOOOOOOO! Thank God!!!  I did have more cramps last night...Den thinks I will go into Labor tonight because of the full moon....we'll see.  We will keep you posted.....hopefully this will be our last belly shot and you will only see Peanut pictures from now on.  Love to you all! xoxoxxo

38 weeks!

Well, here we are 38 weeks.........I started to have contractions last night and lots of Braxton Hicks today........hopefully that means the Peanut will arrive sooner than later!  The baby is facing sunny side up....which isn't the best birthing position, so we are doing some exercises to turn the baby's  face towards my butt.  Let's keep our fingers crossed that Peanut will move, so we have an easier delivery!  Other than that, not much new...I am officially done working and spending a lot of time on the couch!  ;-)  We'll keep you posted! 37 Weeks and counting!!!

Wow, well here we are...huge!  We went to the Dr. today for our 37 weeks check up.  All is good with the Little Peanut!  Peanut has moved down and now I no longer have pressure in my Ribs...now it's a lot lower! ;-(  My cervix is softening which is a step in the right direction!  Den and I got the stuff to do a belly cast, but it turns out I got the toxic stuff, so I have to go back to the store tomorrow.  Hopefully we will get it done before I go into LABOR!! Week 36.......4 more weeks to go!!!

Hello, well, Farmor Dee ( Den's mom) came to visit and we went to Tahoe to visit Grammy (my mom) for lunch.  Then over to check out Daddy's work at Squaw Valley.  So here are a few belly pictures.  It was a beautiful "weekend",  just like spring...the birds were chirping all over.

Hopefully, I will have some Nursery pictures up next week.  All is going well, just very uncomfortable!!!!!!  Hopefully Peanut comes early.....2 weeks would be great!  Hope everyone is doing great! Love ya! Loren, Denny, and the Peanut! xoxo

A test run for Little Peanuts baby blog!

Hi All:  Well, I am trying to be a good mom and start a baby blog for the Peanut. Hopefully everyone who doesn't live in holding , kissing, and snuggling range gets to see the peanut grow along with us!  This is just a test since I have never done a blog...we'll see how this goes.  

We are now 35 weeks and 5 days...nearly a month from our Due date of April 16th!  I am getting very uncomfortable and there is very little room in my now very large belly area.  I can't imagine people who have been pregnant with twins or more........man, oh, man!  The Peanut is moving around and loves to kick me.....it also gets the hick ups which are super cute!  Other than that, not much else going on....Den is working hard trying to get ready for the Peanut and trying not to sleep through our birthing classes.....poor guy!  I am working hard trying to eat as many desserts as I can and trying to rest up...not an easy task (The resting not the dessert eating)  ;-)  We hope you all are great and you enjoy our "computer wiz" peanuts first blog!
